With the founding of this chapter, the International Merrywang Society has actually lived up to its goal -- this is our first chapter outside of the United States. The founder of the German chapter is Veit Doehler of Hamburg, Germany. It is named "El Bizarre" after the two rivers that encompass the span of Germany from the north -- the Elbe -- to the south -- the Isar. If you say the names of the two rivers together quickly, it becomes El Bizarre. To reach their web page, click here. It is in German.
